A timeline of events layed out chronologically. When learner selects an event/date, additional information is provided on that milestone. This is an effective format to illustrate stages in the development of products or drug classes, the evolution of treatment approaches across decades, or the progression of a selection of clinical studies in the context of drug development, etc. Information on milestones can appear in the form of medical illustrations and animations, charts and graphs, audio and video, external links to relevant websites, PDFs, etc.
